Promo ain’t writin’

Goodbye, Facebook

Realized this week one simple rule for my author platform. Books don’t write themselves. Promotion is essential, but there is only so much that works and only so much time in a day.

I’m switching off some of my networking channels so I can get a little peace. I’m a big fan of the Twitter now because I can tweet from the road. I am trying Google plus…. We’ll see. Nice groups on there though. Pinterest is super easy, too. Basically, I need some of my life back.

With Home from the Hill releasing September 22nd and Riding Redemption today, I’ve got some time to lollygag and think about the next book. But, I don’t want to spend every waking moment on the computer talking about Seinfeldiian nothings. I want to write, and talk about writing, but mostly write.
