I just spent seven days without a phone.
Adrift, in a digital wasteland. No text. No kindle. It was a nightmare.
What happened to me? I remember a time when I never had a cell phone and, truthfully, when it was just a phone, I was fine. I didn’t miss it when it was gone. None of us did, right?
We read paper books, and went to actual stores. We sat in front of the TV to watch Buffy. Remember when… When we did things without a phone in our hands. But, I argue with myself, I need it for work, so it’s okay. It’s justified.
Seriously, that was the longest week of my life.
