Getting to Know You

One the advice of a successful author, I’m attempting to grow my email fan base. JolieIt’s not an easy job. He knew. Of course, he knew what she was thinking, feeling at this moment. It was written all over his face, as he stood there before her tracing over her with his eyes. So very aware of her every expression and gesture that she thought his gaze might leave a mark later.

“We could share the hammock”, he said wickedly, raising his eyebrows. He was teasing her. Of course, he was teasing her. She thought he might be trying to break the awkwardness of the moment. It didn’t work, because the only thing it accomplished was to make her visualize “sharing” the hammock, until her mind was completely incapable of higher thought.

“I’m not sure I’m the type to just share a hammock.”
